Emotivo mensaje que envió Selena Gomez a amiga que le donó un riñón

Durante su discurso de agradecimiento en la entrega de los premios Billboard Women in Music 2017, la cantante Selena Gomez aprovechó para agradecer a su amiga Francia Raisa, quien le donó su riñón para enfrentar las complicaciones derivadas del lupus, enfermedad autoinmune que padece la intérprete desde hace varios años.

"Para ser honesta, Francia debió recibir este premio... ella salvó mi vida. Me siento increíblemente afortunada", dijo entre lágrimas la cantante de 'Kill em with kindness'.

Gomez, también con su amiga a su lado, ha recogido el galardón a la 'Mujer del Año', el cual es concedido por Billboard a las mujeres en la música.

La cantante había mantenido un perfil bajo durante todo el verano para después sorprender con una foto desde el hospital en la que contaba cómo su mejor amiga.

I’m very aware some of my fans had noticed I was laying low for part of the summer and questioning why I wasn’t promoting my new music, which I was extremely proud of. So I found out I needed to get a kidney transplant due to my Lupus and was recovering. It was what I needed to do for my overall health. I honestly look forward to sharing with you, soon my journey through these past several months as I have always wanted to do with you. Until then I want to publicly thank my family and incredible team of doctors for everything they have done for me prior to and post-surgery. And finally, there aren’t words to describe how I can possibly thank my beautiful friend Francia Raisa. She gave me the ultimate gift and sacrifice by donating her kidney to me.
